Italian-based CRO, OPIS, is continuing to expand into new geographical markets in 2015. OPIS, which currently operates in over 28 countries, has opened two new offices in Germany and France, and is strengthening its international operational team with the recruitment of additional full-time staff members.
To further satisfy the ever-growing demand for eClinical technologies and risk-based monitoring methodologies, the company has recently added a number of additional services to its impressive portfolio, along with enhanced eClinical services from its in-house software team.
IT and software development team leader Fabio Renna says, “We are excited by the release of Version 3.0 of our proven CLINICAL.NET study portal. This new release features added modules, a new IWRS (Interactive Web response System) and ePRO mobile application, that has just been validated in accordance with the regulatory requirements of FDA 21 CFR Part 11.”
The extended range of services, which also includes scientific advice, has been developed in response to increased client requests and challenges, and is proving invaluable to sponsors in enhancing the speed at which clinical trial data can be handled, the accuracy of the data, and in overhead savings which can reduce the overall cost-to-benefit ratio of a project.
